Returns Policy
At Darker Apparel, we stand behind every piece of gear. If your gear isn’t right for you, we’ve made returns and exchanges simple and fair.
1. How to Return or Exchange an Item

Visit our Returns Portal via the link in our website footer or click “Initiate a Return” below.

Follow the prompts to select your order and choose whether you’d like a return or exchange.

Domestic (Australia): You’ll receive a prepaid return label. A flat $10 fee applies for change-of-mind returns.

International (US, UK, CA, NZ): Customers are responsible for return shipping. We’ll guide you on the most cost-effective way to ship back. Should you wish to receive a replacement product, we will cover the shipping cost of the new item. Different return fees apply for different regions to cover handling costs. Costs are within the section below.

Faulty/damaged or incorrect items are always eligible for free returns for both international and domestic markets. Please follow the return portal instructions to show us what is wrong with the delivery.

2. Refunds & Store Credit
You can choose from two refund options:

Refund to Original Payment Method – Returned once your item is processed.

110% Store Credit – Get 10% extra value to use on future Darker Apparel drops.
Refunds and credits are issued within 7 days of receiving and processing your return.
3. Exchanges
Need a different size or colour? Exchanges are quick and easy through the Returns Portal.

Domestic exchanges: ship free both ways.

International exchanges: We offer international exchanges - should you wish to receive a new product, you will be required to cover the cost of the return label and we will ship you the new product for free.

If you prefer, you can always opt for a refund or 110% store credit instead.
4. Return Conditions
To ensure fairness and quality, all returned items must be:

Returned within 30 days of delivery.

Unworn, unwashed and in original condition with all tags attached.
-
Free from marks, stains, deodorant, sweat, perfume, or odours.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

Underwear & swimwear (hygiene reasons)

Socks (if packaging is opened)

Bottles & shakers
-
Personalised or custom items

Gift cards
-
Final sale items (unless faulty)
Items returned outside these conditions will be sent back.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty or incorrect, we’ll make it right at no cost to you.

Start a return via our Returns Portal and select “Faulty Item” or “Incorrect Item.”

Upload photos/videos to help us process it faster.

Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Faulty/incorrect items are always covered with free returns or replacements.
- The customer can choose a 'Green Return', this then means the customer is not required to ship back the product. Green returns are only an eligible shipping method if an item is faulty/damaged or if the customer received incorrect items. This return method is subject to approval from Darker Apparel and may be rejected.
7. Return Fees & Shipping Costs

Australia: $10 flat fee for change-of-mind returns to cover handling of returned goods.

New Zealand, US, UK, Canada, Rest of world: Customers cover return shipping. The following handling fee applies for international orders

Canada: $10 CAD
- United States: $6 US
- Europe: €6
- United Kingdom/Ireland: £5
- New Zealand: $12 NZD
- Rest of world: $6 USD

Faulty or incorrect items: Always free with no handling fees.
8. Important Notes

A receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.

Promotional/free items are not eligible for return.

Ensure your return is securely packed — we recommend keeping your tracking number until your refund or exchange is processed.

Darker Apparel reserves the right to refuse returns that don’t meet our conditions.
